a Information Security Senior Architect

The Information Security Senior Architect ensures Security-by-Design by developing security technical standards for the Corporate Information Security Policy in accordance with the latest industry trends and best practices. Additionally, he/she provides subject matter expertise on how to incorporate secure technical solutions into the existing IT/OT environment, in alignment with the Corporate Information Security Policy. The architect maintains a repository of reference architectures, applies best practices to support efficient business development initiatives, and stays abreast of business and cybersecurity market trends to drive innovation opportunities with security built in.

Responsibilities

• Enforces the security architecture principles in the organization-wide IT/OT solutions as well as business applications:
  • Works closely with business, IT and OT departments to understand the cyber maturity against the latest threat landscape and designs effective technical solutions that address business & security concerns.
  • Defines the security requirements for new products and systems and signs off successful delivery (of those requirements).
  • Supports the practical implementation of the security policies by defining appropriate technical standards & controls for the technology stack, providing subject matter expertise and knowledge transfer to custodian teams throughout their implementation.
  • Inspect security requirements of technology solutions prior to launch or go-live.
• Supports the development of Technical Security Standards to ensure that the organization’s digital assets are constantly protected and that the security posture is continuously improved.
• Develops and maintains appropriate technical security standards & guidelines, providing information security expertise to business analysts, development teams, IT/OT Engineers, and Solution Architects.
• Security Evaluation of existing solutions. Conducts security reviews and technical security assessments to identify potential risks, security violations and inefficiencies. Reports potential cybersecurity risks and recommends mitigating measures.

Qualifications 

• BSc in Information Security or equivalent.
• Min 6 years in Information Security industry focused on designing effective technical security solutions and controls.
• Strong background in OT/IT/Application/Cloud Cyber security, and experience working in the industrial sector.
• Information Security Industry certifications (Technical Security Certification such as GICSP/GCPN/CEH/CCSP).
• Good team player, self-confident, motivated, and independent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Analytical & time management skills.
• Fluency in English.
