Production & Maintenance Engineer
to join the team in Almyros-Magnesia

Sovel member of Sidenor Group, is looking for a Production & Maintenance Engineer for its SOVEL Steel Plant in Almyros-Magnesia. As the Production & Maintenance Engineer, you will report to the Production Senior Manager, and you will be responsible for the supervision of the maintenance and production of the Plant’s Production Unit.

 What you will need to do:

• Supervise the execution of the maintenance/ production program and plan corrective actions
• Follow Health & Safety regulations in accordance with the company’s policies and standards.
• Follow the instructions as set by the Quality Control Department to ensure the quality of the finalized product
• Coordinate and take responsibility for the maintenance activities and production process for the Department with the goal of minimizing operating costs
• Take responsibility for the good operation, upkeep and care of the Department

Your Profile:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering  (Member of Technical Chamber of Greece)
• 2+ years of prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Good command of the English language
• Familiar with Autocad, SAP software/ systems
• Hydraulics/ Pneumatics efficient level of knowledge will be an asset
• Excellent command of MS Office Applications
