to join the IT team in Pernik, Bulgaria

The facilities of Stomana Industry include a scrap preparation unit, Melt shop, Rolling mill, Plate mill, Ball mill, and Multiple downstream activities.

As the Network Administrator, you will primarily focus on maintaining, securing, and optimizing the company's IT infrastructure by ensuring reliable network operations, system availability, data protection, and technical support based in Stomana Plant in Pernik, Bulgaria. 

Your role:

• Manages and secures the company's IT and communication infrastructure, including networks, servers, phone systems, and communication equipment;
• Provides technical support and maintenance for all hardware and software, including computers, network equipment, and applications across all company locations;
• Implements and updates system software, hardware, and applications, ensuring stable and efficient IT operations;
• Ensures data protection and system reliability through regular backups, archiving, data recovery, and monitoring compliance with information security policies;
• Monitors, diagnoses, and resolves technical issues, supports end users, and assists with user training and technical guidance;
• Maintains IT documentation and asset management, including system configuration reports and the IT asset database;
• Oversees IT administration staff and continuous improvement, coordinating training and qualification development for administrators in all company locations.

What you need to possess:

• Strong knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) equipment, architecture, and applications;
• Proven experience in administering local area networks;
• Solid ability to diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues;
• Good knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language;
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken;
• Good understanding of internal company policies and procedures;
• Strong awareness of occupational health & safety, fire protection, and security regulation.
