Dojran Steel is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for its plant in Nikolic, North Macedonia. Established in 2006, Dojran Steel is a subsidiary of Sidenor Steel Industry S.A. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will report to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for the design, development, and improvement of mechanical systems and production processes. You will work on projects related to machine operations, crane equipment, energy systems, production lines, and technical improvements within the manufacturing plant.

Your role:
·       Plan, design, and optimize mechanical systems and production processes

·       Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, and engineering projects

·       Monitor, analyze, and improve the performance and maintenance of production equipment, cranes, and material handling systems

·       Participate in investment projects, equipment modernization, selection, installation, and commissioning of new machinery

·       Coordinate activities with Production, Maintenance, Procurement, and Health & Safety departments

·       Monitor energy efficiency and propose improvement measures

Your Profile:
·        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering

·        At least 5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing plant or industrial production environment

·        Fluency in Macedonian and English, with effective communication skills                                                                                                                 

·    Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or other engineering CAD software                                                                                                                                                                            ·     Good knowledge of Microsoft Office                                                                                                                     ·     Knowledge of ERP systems and SAP will be considered an advantage
