Hellenic Cables S.A. is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to join our Quality Control department in Eleonas Plant.
Role Description
- Issue and review technical documents
- Study international specifications and standards and participate in technical meetings
- Supervise, coordinate and perform electrical tests & measurements
- Issue operating & safety instructions
- Train and develop laboratory personnel
- Resolve emerging problems/deficiencies and address open technical issues
- Process and interpret measured data
- Plan, prioritize & oversee the laboratory operating schedule to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Specify and monitor Lab KPI’s
- Refer to internal database or external resources to provide prompt and accurate feedback to other departments
Qualifications
- MSc in Electrical/Chemical Engineering (preferably Electrical Energy sector)
- 2+ years of working experience in Quality Control Department or Electrical Testing Laboratory
- Fluent in written and spoken English (2nd foreign language is considered an asset)
- Planning and organizational skills
- Teamwork – communication skills
