is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic and fast-growing Project Management Office in Marousi, Athens.
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a key role in managing end-to-end supply chain operations for complex projects. You will be responsible for demand planning, procurement, logistics coordination, and inventory optimization, ensuring timely material availability and compliance with international trade regulations. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will contribute to operational excellence and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute demand planning and forecasting to support project timelines and production needs.
- Manage warehouse operations, inventory control, and optimization processes.
- Oversee procurement and sourcing activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply of materials.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Handle freight forwarding processes and ensure compliance with customs regulations and Incoterms.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.
- Support production planning and scheduling to align with manufacturing capacity and delivery deadlines.
- Monitor order fulfillment and tracking, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Implement supply chain risk management strategies and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Analyze logistics data, develop KPIs (OTIF, lead time, freight cost), and prepare performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations, import/export processes, and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement roles (experience in EPC or industrial projects is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and WMS/TMS platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Familiarity with Incoterms, customs compliance, and international trade regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills for data analysis, cost optimization, and root cause analysis.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English (German will be considered an asset).
- Professional certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) are a plus.
