HELLENIC CABLELS S.A.

 

is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Corinth - one of the most technologically advanced submarine cable production plants globally.

 

The ideal candidate will work closely with the production foundries line, gaining hands‑on engineering experience by monitoring processes on the shop floor and actively following up on quality and safety.

 

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

  • Supervise and perform electrical / high-voltage tests and measurements
  • Coordinate daily laboratory activities and ensure smooth workflow
  • Ensure compliance with operating procedures and safety instructions
  • Record, check, and organize test results and basic technical documentation
  • Guide and support technicians during daily activities
  • Identify and report equipment issues, test deviations, or safety concerns
  • Ensure proper use, cleanliness, and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Support laboratory scheduling to avoid delays in production testing
  • Follow quality and safety standards applicable to laboratory operations

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a Technological Educational Institution (former TEI – Greece)
  • Valid Electrical Installer License (4th Group, Class A – Greece)
  • Previous experience in an industrial environment or laboratory setting is considered an asset
  • Willingness to work in rotating shifts
  • Interest in high-voltage testing and laboratory work
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office)
  • Ability to consistently follow procedures and safety rules
  • Team-oriented, with good communication skills
  • Structured and detail-oriented approach, with strong follow-up skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with effective time management
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Good command of the English language
