Corinth Pipeworks is looking for a Tax & Customs Senior Specialist to join the Finance team, supporting tax and customs compliance across Greece and the United States.
In this key role, you will ensure full compliance with tax and customs legislation, support audits and business transactions and contribute to continuous improvement of tax and trade processes.
Your Role:
As a Tax & Customs Senior Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing direct and indirect tax obligations and customs-related activities. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors, you will support operational decisions, audits and tax planning initiatives in a multinational environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare, review, and file corporate income tax return.
- Ensure the accurate and timely filing of VAT returns in Greece and oversee the proper and timely fulfillment of all tax obligations of the company.
- Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transaction reviews.
- Oversee the tax activities of the US subsidiary, with overall accountability for compliance and reporting
- Ensure full compliance with tax legislation and group tax policies.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company’s operations and financials.
- Support and manage tax audits and tax authority reviews.
- Provide tax input for business transactions, contracts, and operational decisions.
- Monitor customs-related activities, including Inward Processing Relief (IPR) processes, in coordination with external customs brokers, ensuring appropriate documentation and compliance controls.
- Identify improvement opportunities in customs processes and controls.
What We’re Looking For:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Postgraduate qualification in Tax will be considered an advantage.
Work Experience:
- 4–5 years of solid experience in taxation, preferably in a multinational, industrial, or Big 4 environment.
- Strong knowledge of corporate income tax and VAT is essential.
- Exposure to customs and trade compliance is considered an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:

- Excellent command of English (spoken & written).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP knowledge is an asset).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with attention to detail and accountability.
