DEMAND PLANNING SENIOR SPECIALIST

Corinth Pipeworks is looking for a Demand Planning Senior Specialist to join the Planning team, reporting to the Demand & Supply Planning Senior Manager. The position is based in Thisvi (60%) and Marousi (40%).

Your Role

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for capturing and translating customer demand into accurate mid- and long-term forecasts, ensuring seamless alignment between commercial, operations and finance teams. You will actively contribute to the monthly S&OP process and play a key role in the company’s transformation towards Integrated Business Planning (IBP).

Duties and responsibilities

• Execute the monthly S&OP process following with discipline all drumbeat milestones while securing on time info sharing, decision making and monthly plans sign off for 18 months rolling forecast successful finalization.
• Deploy and strengthen collaboration with key organizational stakeholders working closely with them at a daily level to achieve continuous bi-directional info flow / exchange always having the most updated data as well as the required input for the key S&OP monthly forums.
• Having advanced project management competencies plus scenario building capabilities demonstrate the ability to effectively incorporate nominated or not projects together with Hollow Section campaigns at a holistic unconstrained demand plan.
• Acting as one team one source of information with supply (supply planner and scheduling planners) team to timely identify constraints, co-manage and counterbalance limitations with key S&OP counterparties producing an effective mid / long term production / supply plan that fully meets customer demand in terms of time, volume and value. 
• Fully utilize existing demand & supply management tools (Ortems, SAP, MSG, Qlik Sense) for 18 months rolling forecast production, update and sign off. Plus added value KPIs matrix generation / reporting and key S&OP forums visualization for effective performance monitoring and quality decision making by senior management.
• Play a leading role at the mid / long term planning / forecasting system continuous improvement while provide all the necessary support to all the key system and process optimization projects within the organization expected to add value to the end customer.
• Further develop with Finance / Business Planning team the transformation to evolve S&OP to IBP process for the one budget, one number goal. 

What You’ll Do

Educational Background:

• MS degree in supply chain management or engineering, BA at engineering, business administration or related field.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in demand planning / forecasting / or project management position. Ideally, industry related work experience with manufacturing background.
• Expertise in S&OP or IBP or operations planning.
• Experience in project management
• Experience with SAP (ERP) and / or IBP and / or Planning Tools.

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent command of English and Greek (spoken & written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work methodically, with attention to detail.
