The Copper Tubes Division of ElvalHalcor is searching for a results-driven Product Design & Customer Support Engineer, responsible for the design and supervision of new product development and production methods, to join our Development Department at Oinofyta, Voiotia, Greece.
Role Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer technical inquiries regarding high-performance products, including production feasibility, availability of routings and production tools, and existing codifications.
• Create and issue new production specifications for high-performance products and ensure adherence to these specifications.
• Maintain and update the Specifications Library.
• Manage product codifications, as well as the creation, maintenance, and updating of routings and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Handle and prepare samples and trial orders.
• Provide customer service support (CTS) for issues related to high-performance products.
• Coordinate development of new products (NPD Coordinator).
• Design and optimize production processes for new products.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in in Mechanical Engineering or Technological orientation
• Excellent command / proficiency of the English language.
• Very good computer skills (MS Office).
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Control Systems.
• Good knowledge of mechanical drawing.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP) is considered an asset.
• Proactive and self-motivated, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork oriented.
• Results-driven, with a commitment to excellence.
