DEMAND PLANNING SPECIALIST

Role Description

Key Responsibilities:
•    Analyze historical sales data and market trends to create accurate demand forecasts.
•    Collaborate with Sales and Production departments to gather and evaluate information affecting demand.
•    Develop and maintain forecast models using statistical methods and specialized tools (e.g., SAP, Excel).
•    Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy and inventory levels.
•    Identify and analyze variances between forecasts and actual sales, aiming for continuous process improvement.
•    Support the planning and monitoring of material requirements (material requirements planning) to ensure timely and adequate supply for production.
•    Cooperate with the Procurement and Warehouse departments to ensure the availability of raw materials and supplies.
•    Participate in inventory optimization and cost reduction projects.

Requirements:
•    University degree in Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Sciences or a related field.
•    Very good knowledge of MS Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (ideally SAP) is desirable.
•    Ability to analyze data and use statistical tools.
•    Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
•    Organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving ability.
•    Willingness for continuous learning, acquiring new knowledge, and developing skills in modern tools and methodologies.
•    Very good command of the English language.
