Elval Colour was founded in 1977 and is a subsidiary of ELVALHALCOR Hellenic Copper and Aluminium Industry. Elval Colour has more than 40 years of experience in aluminium coating and colour matching solutions. Coils and strips can be produced in any colour to satisfy the most demanding aesthetic requirements along with several options of special functional coatings. At our factory located near Thiva, we operate liquid painting lines, electrostatic painting lines and aluminum passivation lines, as well as a unit to produce paints used in aluminum painting.

 

We are looking for a

Quality Systems & IMS Compliance Engineer

to join our team in our plant at Thiva, Viotia.

 

Job Purpose

The purpose of the role is to support, maintain and continuously improve the company’s Integrated Management System, ensuring compliance with applicable ISO standards, regulatory requirements, customer requirements and internal procedures. The role contributes to the effective implementation of quality, environmental, health & safety and sustainability management systems through audits, documentation control, KPI monitoring, corrective actions and cross-functional collaboration.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the Integrated Management System (IMS), including ISO certifications and other applicable standards.
  • Monitor compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and certification obligations.
  • Support the development, implementation, and review of IMS policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Coordinate internal audits and support external audits conducted by certification bodies, customers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor and report IMS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and compliance metrics.
  • Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions arising from audits, incidents, non-conformities, and customer complaints.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives across Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, and Sustainability systems.
  • Train and support employees on IMS requirements, procedures, and compliance-related activities.
  • Ensure effective document control and management of IMS records.
  • Participate in risk assessments and compliance evaluations related to operational processes.
  • Support sustainability and environmental reporting activities, including carbon footprint and ESG-related initiatives where applicable.
  • Cooperate with internal departments to ensure effective implementation of management system requirements.

 

Additional / Optional responsibilities

  • Support digitalization and automation projects related to IMS processes.
  • Participate in management reviews and organizational compliance assessments.
  • Benchmark best practices and propose improvements to management systems.
  • Assist in supplier qualification and compliance evaluations.
  • Contribute to the development of sustainability, environmental, and corporate responsibility initiatives.

 

 

Qualifications

 

Mandatory

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Material Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language.
  • Good understanding of management systems and compliance processes.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in ISO Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, etc.).

 

Optional

  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of Sustainability, ESG reporting, and Carbon Footprint management.
  • Internal or Lead Auditor certification will be considered an asset.
