Job Purpose

Key Accountabilities

• Create and manage factory layouts as well as design general layouts of existing and future production lines
• Study, design, and develop technical solutions for mechanical equipment and steel structures, including 3D modeling and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Make design modifications or improvements on development or maintenance projects
• Generate hand sketches
• Participate as team member, work effectively in a team environment
• Write reports and present results to managers
• Ensure compliance with the industry’s safety standards
• Maintain accurate records

Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (4-year degree)
• Previous experience in a similar role: 3–5 years
• Strong expertise in mechanical design
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Advanced skills using MS Office
• Strong expertise in AutoCAD (2D) & Autodesk Inventor (3D)
• Expertise in dimensional tolerancing, GD&T, and precision measurements
• Very good knowledge of machine elements design & calculations
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to details
